Right of withdrawal

You can withdraw from a newly concluded contract for a web hosting, WordPress, email or VPS package within 14 days without giving reasons. The period begins on the day on which we send you the access details for the package. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your withdrawal before the period expires.

The right of withdrawal applies to the first order of a package per customer and product type. It is a voluntary offer by HostOn; any mandatory further-reaching rights, for example for consumers resident in the EU, remain reserved.

• Domains (registration, transfer, renewal, restoration): these are executed immediately at the registry and cannot be reversed.
• SSL certificates, once they have been issued.
• Renewals of existing contracts and upgrades.
• Services that were fully performed at your request before you withdraw (e.g. a completed paid assignment).
• Accounts that have been suspended due to violations of the Terms and Conditions or the Acceptable use policy.

If you ordered a domain together with the package, only the package is refunded on withdrawal. The domain remains registered in your name and can be transferred to another provider.

1. 1Send a noticeSend an email to buchhaltung@hoston.ch or a letter to Alin Ghiorghiu, Schürbungertweg 10, 8302 Kloten, Switzerland. Please send the email from the address stored in your customer account.
2. 2Provide detailsName, customer number, the package concerned or invoice number, and order date. You can use the model form below – it is not mandatory.
3. 3Receive confirmationWe confirm receipt, terminate the package and delete the associated data. Back up everything you want to keep beforehand.

We refund all payments for the withdrawn package within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal. We use the same means of payment as for the original payment, unless expressly agreed otherwise; on request, we credit the amount to your customer account. You will not incur any fees for the refund.

After the withdrawal, the package is deactivated and all data stored in it is deleted.

You can pay conveniently in the client area at my.hoston.ch. The available payment methods are shown on the invoice. All amounts are in Swiss francs including VAT.

• Please always quote the invoice number when making bank transfers.

After the 14 days have expired, you can cancel your package at any time in the client area with effect from the end of the term (at the latest 14 days before it expires). Details are set out in the Terms and Conditions.
