• SpamUnsolicited bulk emails sent via our servers or advertising a website hosted with us.
• PhishingFake login or payment pages located on our servers.
• MalwareMalware, exploits or botnet control on a website or VPS hosted with us.
• AttacksScans, brute-force attempts or overload attacks originating from one of our IP addresses.
• Legal infringementsCopyright or trademark infringements, violations of personality rights, fake shops.
• Criminal contentDepictions of child abuse, violent or terrorist propaganda – these reports may be made anonymously.

For us to be able to review a report, the Swico Code of Conduct for hosting providers requires:

1. 1your name and contact details (anonymous only for depictions of child abuse and offences of comparable gravity);
2. 2the reason why you are affected, for example as the rights holder or recipient;
3. 3the exact URL, domain or IP address and, for emails, the full headers;
4. 4a description of the content and why it is unlawful or harmful;
5. 5a statement that your information is correct to the best of your knowledge and belief.

Incomplete reports can be completed within 2 working days. After that, we close them.

1. 1ReviewWe check whether the reported address is actually located on our servers and whether the information is complete.
2. 2Notice and noticeWithin about 2 working days, we forward the report to our customer and ask them to remove the content or to respond.
3. 3Notice and takedownWe immediately block obviously unlawful or dangerous content such as phishing or malware and inform the customer.

We only disclose our customer’s name on the order of an authority or a court. Violations of the acceptable use policy may lead to suspension and termination.
