Separate accounts
In WHM you create a cPanel account for each client. Websites, emails and databases stay separate, and your clients sign in to their cPanel with their own login details.
DNS and SSL
Your clients’ domains use ns1.hoston.ch and ns2.hoston.ch. As soon as a domain points to these name servers, AutoSSL issues the certificate automatically.
Growth
Start with 5 client accounts and switch to a larger plan in the client area as soon as your portfolio grows. You can also add individual additional accounts without changing plans.

With reseller hosting you get a WHM account in which you create your own cPanel accounts for your clients. You set plans and prices yourself and bill your clients directly. We look after the server, software updates and backups.
No. Your own reseller account is included in the plan and does not count towards the limit. With RS 10 you can therefore create 10 cPanel accounts for clients, in addition to your own account.
You can add up to 24 additional cPanel accounts per plan for CHF 1.90 each per month incl. VAT, when ordering or later in the client area. Alternatively, switch to a larger plan. For 100, 150 or 200 accounts, we will be happy to prepare a quote for you.
At whm.hoston.ch with the login details from the welcome email, or directly from the client area via “Open WHM”. Your clients sign in to their own cPanel at cpanel.hoston.ch.
ns1.hoston.ch and ns2.hoston.ch. They are set automatically when your reseller account is set up. Custom name servers under your own domain are not possible.

Reseller hosting at HostOn costs from CHF 19.90 per month including VAT for RS 5 with 5 client accounts and 80 GB of NVMe storage. The largest plan available to order, RS-E 50, includes 50 client accounts and 500 GB.
Web hosting is enough for your own websites, including several domains in one cPanel. Reseller hosting makes sense if you look after websites for clients and want to give each client their own cPanel with separate login details.
