Email for the whole team
In cPanel you create mailboxes, forwarders and out-of-office replies yourself. Personal addresses for staff and role addresses such as info@ or accounts@ run on the same domain. When someone leaves the company, you forward their mailbox to a colleague instead of losing customer enquiries. For your emails to arrive reliably, SPF, DKIM and DMARC should be set correctly. If your website is with an agency or on another platform, you can also run email separately with our email hosting.
What does web hosting cost an SME over three years?

Migration without interruption
We move your existing website with databases, mailboxes and DNS records to HostOn free of charge, usually within 24–48 hours. You check everything on a temporary address before the domain is switched over. We transfer emails via IMAP, including from Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. You transfer .ch and .li domains free of charge with the auth code.
Data protection and access
As a business, you are responsible for the personal data on your website, for example from contact forms, quote requests or statistics tools. Keep your privacy policy up to date, use only the fields you need in forms and decide who has access to hosting and mailboxes. This is general information, not legal advice.
Ownership matters too: the domain should be registered in your company's name, and you should hold the logins to hosting and website yourself, even if an agency looks after the website. That way you stay in control if you change agency.

Unlimited on all web hosting plans. Website and mailboxes share the plan's storage, which is 75 GB in total with Rigi. You can see current usage at any time in cPanel.
Keep the domain and hosting in your company's name and store the logins yourself. Your agency is best given its own WordPress user or its own FTP account, which you can remove again when needed.
12 months with yearly billing. Unless you cancel, the plan renews for another year at the same price. You can cancel in the client area up to 14 days before expiry.
